This world is bright because of who you are ... a shining star in my heart.

Hello, Friends!

We’re rolling into November, and I’m distracted—again.

Turns out, I’m a thousand words into chapter 31 of my work in progress. You might remember that it’s a haunting, thriller novel about a suspicious death that roils the mind of the dead boy’s older sister. She's on a mission to find out the truth ... but at what cost? Compelling, right?

Well, the novel won’t be finished by end of year, which was my initial goal.

However, I’m concurrently editing a middle-grade story I wrote a few years ago that's resurfaced in my mind. The 200+ pages dive into a cursed house, a talking dog (a pug, of course), and a promise powerful enough to break the portal of time. A super fun adventure.

If all goes according to plan, I’ll have this book ready in December. A perfect gift for our younger readers, and I do think adults will enjoy it too.

More to come as I get closer to publishing book number 4 in my collection, and I’ll keep you posted as my thriller novel continues to make progress.

Importantly ...

I'm blessed to have you as a friend, and I can't thank you enough for supporting indie authors like myself. For me, the greatest enjoyment as an indie author is participating in community events and having the opportunity to meet readers, book lovers, and wonderful people such as yourself. This world is bright because of who you are and all that you contribute towards a safe, happy, and kind future. Stay true to you, always.

And, as Maya Angelou, one of my favorite all-time authors, had shared, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." You, my friends, are that breath I hold dear in my heart.

Lastly, make sure to check out local community events in November where we can meet up. Check out my event page ... click here.

Take care and have very happy Thanksgiving!!
