Spinal Dread Horror Festival: Anaheim Central Library
Spinal Dread is a free annual horror literature and culture festival at the Anaheim Central Library (500 W. Broadway) that brings fans together to experience haunting indie book vendors (that's me!), author panels, interactive fun, and special guest author Marcus Kliewer.

Untold Story Bookstore Open Mic Night
Popular for its community spirit, cozy atmosphere, and support of local indie authors, poets, writers, readers, and creative minds. The Untold Story Bookstore is located in Anaheim at 301 N. Anaheim Blvd. Join the warm community of bookish friends for Open Mic Night on Friday, September 25 (6:30-8pm). Everyone is welcomed, always.

Experience art galleries, music, coffee, drinks, food & more! Shop local from artisans, authors, artists, vintage collections, music stores, and jewelry makers. Support this creative community! I'll be there signing my 3x award-winning book, Born of Dirt & Dust, along with themed bookmarks, pins, buttons, and totes. Mark your calendar and come on by. Friday, September 4 (5-9pm) at The Night Owl at 200 N Harbor in Fullerton.
Artists Village Cafe Open Mic Night
A burst of musical energy with sprinkles of poetry readings. Get inspired by the musicians, poets, and creative community. Experience an evening of relaxing fun at the cafe while enjoying delicious food, including vegan choices, and incredible drinks. Support up-and-coming indie bands and writers. Come out, say hello, and make new friends! You can catch me there on Friday, September 19. Open mic sign-ups start at 4:30 PM.
Blackbird Books & Coffee
Newly opened in Huntington Beach at 7971 Talbert St. We recently conducted our book club meeting at this indie bookstore with a delish coffee bar. I'll be working on a new set of Zines at the comfy bookstore on Sunday, September 27, from 12-2 PM. Come by, say hi, and let's enjoy a nice cup of coffee together.
