The Untold Story Bookstore: A Community Giving-Back Affair

At The Untold Story Bookstore, the warm and comforting vibe is very intentional. It's a place where everyone is welcome to grab a book, take a seat, relax and read for as long as you desire. It's a safe community space, where local poets, writers, readers, artists, jewelry designers, cookie bakers, families and their children come for that cozy feeling of belonging. Of knowing you're embraced by friends.

Liz is the owner, and her positivity vibrates in all that she does. Not only in running her independent bookstore, but in giving back to the community. A dedicated section of her store is a kitchen pantry, where she welcomes anyone who may need a little help with groceries or household goods, such as napkins, diapers, hand soap, and other needed bathroom items. "Everyone is welcome," Liz shares. "If you know anyone in need, have them stop by."
Liz also offers conversational Spanish lessons on weeknights, and she delights the community on weekends with activities like Open-Mic Night, author readings, book features, and book crafts.

As an Indie Author, I can't help but adore this independent bookstore located in the heart of Anaheim. It's a treat, as much as a book retreat, and every visit feels like a calming breath. A hug when I need it most.
"Our mission is to tell the stories of those so often silenced, learn about each other, and grow together as a community."
Thanks, Liz, to you and your wonderful staff, for bringing harmony and community-spirit into our lives.
