Hey Friends!
Spinal Dread is a free annual horror literature and culture festival at the Anaheim Central Library (500 W. Broadway) that brings fans together to experience haunting indie book vendors (that's me!), author panels, interactive fun, and special guest author Marcus Kliewer.
Over 30 haunting vendors will be there, including me! Yay!

At the Spinal Dread event, I'm delighted to sign my award-winning book, Born of Dirt & Dust, a collection of speculative fiction filled with psychological horror, urban dread, dark fantasy, and a bitter taste of sci-fi. Bite-sized stories you can sink your teeth into again and again.
Roxy's Not My Girl will also be available at the event. This collection leans towards contemporary literary fiction with elements of magical realism. A thread of stories where characters are hungry for love.
You can also check out my dark and haunting poetry & flash fiction Zines. Three of which will be featured at the Downtown Santa Ana Zine Walk on September 5. Jimmie Wyste Doesn't Like His Parent's Secrets is my latest short-fiction Zine.

Spinal Dread is the perfect place to explore dark, uncanny themes in a festive group setting that offers a fun, community-spirited environment with a creepy adrenaline rush. It's a roller-coaster ride around the library that will make you feel excited and tingly down to the bone. Meet authors, enjoy panels, explore horror-themed stories, artwork, buttons, stickers, zines, totes, and plenty of spooky bookish fun.
Save the date! Saturday, September 26. 10 am to 4 pm. And for those 21+, join the After Party at Asylum Brewing for handcrafted drinks, fundraising raffles, flash tattoos, and more community socializing. The brewery is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Anaheim Central Library.
It'll be a funtastic Saturday. I can't wait to see you there!
